City of Rexburg
One of our first graphic design projects in 2006 was a redesign of the city seal for Rexburg. The original logo combined 23 separate illustrations in a pixel based format, and Rexburg needed a more legible, useable mark, but updating the seal was only the beginning. We also worked with city officials to outline graphic standards for signage, vehicle application, and printed materials.
Typically, a good logo will have a primary and secondary signature.
As we worked with city officials and employees, we uncovered several different scenarios that required an extended standard to account for horizontal, square, vertical and simplified logo applications.
